This is my first plunge into bloggsville.
Due to a stupid accident involving my thumb and a big heavy bmw car door - I can't write! As I keep a diary I am close to imploding right now. I'm dying to sprawl out some nonsense and go on for a few pages about how much agony I'm in.
I'm feeling very sorry for myself. But... I CAN TYPE. Hurrah. So, figure - I start a blog.
Being thumb-less is a mission. You wouldn't realise how hard normal everyday tasks are without both thumbs. The hardest being putting on a bra! First time I tried with the injury I was stood there for about 20 minutes trying to get it on (: But despite my difficulties I've established new ways to do everything - most very humorous to my boyfriend.
Brushing teeth - I have to put the toothbrush between my legs, hold it still, and squeeze on some toothpaste :)
Pulling up the sleeves on my long but extremely cosy cardy - involves teeth..
And putting on deodrant... Near to impossible! It's alright on the right arm but you have to use your thumb
You wouldn't think by looking at it how painful it is and has been. I just thank it was just my thumb I slammed the car door on and not my whole hand (:
